Afton’s historic Ford Theatre is hosting Utah native songwriter and troubadour, Nathan Spenser, for a Valentine’s concert on Friday, February 13 at 7 p.m.
“We are excited to have Nathan Spenser for this Valentine’s Event,” said Salt River Arts representative Daphne Arbizu. “He is going to be singing and playing love songs,” which, according to saltriverarts.com, will be “the greatest love songs of all time.”
At nathanspenser.com, fans learn that he was born and raised in Salt Lake City, where his “old soul” pursued development of a “bluesy voice and a riveting stage presence.” His music is “inspired” by Americana with county and jazz roots and blues music.
Spenser shares the news of his first album on his website. “I just finished recording my first full-length solo album featuring seven heartfelt originals. All of the songs on my new album are performed, arranged composed and written by yours truly.” As an independent artist, Spenser also plays guitar, harmonica and mandolin.
Arbizu invites everyone to enjoy the concert. “Come out and join us for a nice evening.”
