No major injuries reported in two-vehicle accident south of Afton

Emergency personnel responded to a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning on US 89 near the Kodiak Mountain Resort south of Afton on Wednesday.
According to information provided by the Wyoming Highway Patrol, a gray Toyota SUV was waiting at a stop sign attempting to perform a left hand turn from Highway 236 onto US 89 to head northbound toward Afton. A second vehicle, a silver minivan, was headed south on U.S 89. The Toyota pulled out to turn left, failing to see the minivan and struck the vehicle, causing it to lose control. The minivan rolled onto its side and slid down the highway before a tire dug into the roadway, causing it to flip back up onto its wheels before coming to rest in the middle of the roadway.
The two occupants in the Toyota SUV were juveniles while the driver of the minivan was an adult female.
No major injuries were reported although some complaints of pain were made. All parties refused treatment of EMS at the scene.
