The annual North Lincoln County 4-H Shotgun Shoot brought together youth from across the Star Valley area for some friendly competition, learning, and sportsmanship. Participants demonstrated their shotgun shooting skills while emphasizing the core 4-H values of responsibility, safety, leadership, and respect.

Youth competitors participated in events that tested their accuracy and consistency under the guidance of certified volunteer leaders. Throughout the competition, safety remained the highest priority, with all participants following proper firearm handling procedures and range commands.

The event provided an opportunity for 4-H members to build confidence, develop marksmanship skills, and support one another in a positive and encouraging environment. Family members, volunteers, and community supporters were on hand to cheer on the competitors and recognize their hard work and dedication.

Top finishers were recognized for their outstanding performance, while all participants were congratulated for their commitment to practice, perseverance, and good sportsmanship.

The success of the event would not have been possible without the dedicated volunteers, coaches, range personnel, and families who donated their time and resources. Their support helps provide meaningful educational experiences that allow young people to develop valuable life skills through the 4-H Shooting Sports program.

Congratulations to all of this year’s participants for representing 4-H with excellence, integrity, and respect. We look forward to another successful North County Shotgun Shoot next year.
