Three evenings of professional rodeo filled the stands for the final three days of the 2026 Lincoln County Fair. The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) entertained the crowds with multiple highly-ranked competitors all trying to take home a share of the nearly $100,000 overall payout.
Multiple area athletes competed in what would be considered their hometown arena as Donny Proffit of Diamondville (Bareback), Kaylee Leseberg of Thayne (Barrel Racing), Bridget Scaffide of Alpine (Barrel Racing) and Garrett Hoopes of Thayne (Bull Riding) were part of the weekend. Other regional competitors such as Arye Espenschied of Big Piney, Tipton Wilson of Jackson and Brody Hasenack of Hoback were on display as well.

Espenscheid combined with Bodie Mattson to win the Team Roping event which netted them $2,130. Mattson earned the All-around Cowboy for the weekend with his efforts in the event combined with Tie-down Roping. Hasenack placed fifth in the Bull Riding to earn $1,202. Leseberg finished in the money with a 10th place finish in her event to pick up $193.
The Bareback event was extremely competitive with eight riders earning at least an 83.5 to split the purse. The top payout went to Austin Slaugh for his 87-point ride on bull named Pearl Snap Fever to take home $4,587.
