The Bridger-Teton National Forest Road Crew plans to begin grading work on Swift Creek Road starting this week, weather permitting. The project is expected to take approximately two days to complete.
Crews may also trim back willow vegetation in areas where it is limiting motorists’ sight distance. Because Swift Creek Road is narrow and winding, the road will need to be closed to public use while work is underway to ensure safety for both workers and travelers.
The crew is prepared to begin work as early as Tuesday October 20; however, start dates may shift into next week if weather conditions deteriorate.
