Both the Braves and Lady Braves punched their ticket to the state tournament yesterday with wins. The Braves outlasted the Evanston Red Devils thanks to three clutch saves from keeper Alek Lawson. Star Valley eliminated the Devils 3-2 in a shootout.

Then the Lady Braves got a goal from Katie Robinson in the 19th minute as they defeated Natrona 1-0.

Friday’s action has the Star Valley girls taking on top-ranked Rock Springs at 2 p.m. and the Braves facing off against rival Jackson at 4 p.m. for a chance to reach the regional finals.
