As Lincoln County Public Health continues to roll out is plan for the COVID-19 Vaccine, Duke & Dahl asked radio listeners of the Weekday Wake-up on SVI Radio if they plan to get the vaccine when it becomes available to them.
Currently, public health is still working through the 1a prioritization schedule, which includes health care workers and emergency response personnel. Signups are being taken for those in the 1b schedule, which includes remaining health care and emergency response workers, anyone over the age of 70, National Guard, teachers and support staff and those involved in the food supply chain such as grocery store employees and meat processing employees.
No timeline has been given for when the vaccine will be available to the general public locally. Public health is currently outlining who will be in the 1c Prioritization Schedule. Will get vaccine

Will not get vaccine
“No I won’t get the vaccine. Due to they developed it in less than a year and you can’t tell me there isn’t issues with the vaccine.”
