Star Valley High School alumnus, Peter Visser, ran in the U20 World Championships in Cali Colombia on Wednesday August 3. As a member of the US Track and Field Team, Visser finished 6th in his heat in the 3000 Meter Steeplechase. His time of 9:06.47 placed him 19th overall in the world. Visser is a freshman at Weber State University.

Peter was a member of multiple state championships at Star Valley High School in both Track & Field and Cross-Country, was a three-time individual champion in cross-country and a two-time Wyoming Gatorade Runner of the Year.
