A local cat owner has entered their pet into an online voting competition with the hopes of earning money for the Animal Humane Association of Star Valley, also known Lucky’s Place. Precious, the name of the pet cat, is currently is 2nd place in the voting as of Monday afternoon.
“The contest is called America’s Favorite Pet and is sponsored by PAWS.org,” said Stephanie Wardle, the cat’s’ owner. “There were thousands entered and Precious is currently in the top 1% of those entered.”
Should Precious win the competition, $5,000 would go to the Animal Humane Association of Star Valley. The voting is currently in the quarter-final round, with the voting for this round ending Thursday evening. For more details and to vote, click here.
