Sheriff’s officials say they are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman in Cache County.

Deputies responded to reports of two gunshot victims at a home in Hyrum on Wednesday, Sheriff D. Chad Jensen said in a news release. Deputies found a 37-year-old woman deceased with a gunshot wound in a bedroom. They also found a deceased 38-year-old man elsewhere in the house.

The couple was married and their 16-year-old daughter discovered the bodies, Jensen said.

More details were not immediately available, but the sheriff said there is not a continued risk to the public.
