According to Jason Mavy, Operator for the Bedford Water & Sewer District, those utilizing the Bedford Water System will now have a new alternate water supply point that has been established at the southeast corner of the Thayne Community Center. The previously approved location should no longer be used.
Mavy also provided an update on the boil order for the system.
“We expect the boil order to be lifted soon,” he said. “The water system has been disinfected and we are waiting for approval from EPA to give us a green light to lift the order.”
