The Facebook Auction to benefit the Box H Park in Fairview is down to the final few hours of accepting bids. The auction will close at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23. All proceeds from the auction will to towards the purchase of a new playground at the historic park.

Along with numerous donations of baked goods and services, the auction also features big ticket items such as Wyoming Football tickets, George Strait concert tickets and even a 7-10 day South African Safari.

Members of the Facebook group simply comment on each item’s post with their bid. When the auction closes the person with the highest bid wins the item.

The Box H Park Board of Directors is making the final push of fundraising efforts to raise the money to purchase the new playground before the end of the year before prices go up in 2024.  Several fundraisers have been held over the past two years, including drive-in movies, classic car show, cookbook and puzzle sales and more.
