A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle near Lava Hot Springs Tuesday morning. Idaho State Police say the incident happened at 6:24 a.m. on US30 at milepost 373, which is a couple miles east of Lava Hot Springs.
According to ISP, a white Ford F150, driven b a 58-year-old male from Bancroft, Idaho, was traveling westbound. A 34-year-old male was in the lane of travel and was struck by the F150. The male in the roadway succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver of the Ford was wearing a seatbelt. ISP stated that the incident remains under investigation.
