Wyoming was picked to finish fifth in the Preseason Poll selected by members of the conference media. New Mexico was picked to win the league followed by Grand Canyon, Nevada and UNLV.

Meyer appeared in 31 games with 23 starts during his freshman campaign for Wyoming. Meyer ended his first season with the Brown and Gold as the team’s second-leading scorer, netting 12.9 points per game while shooting 46.3% from the field and 35.2% from deep. Meyer also tied for a team-high 4.9 rebounds per game and dished out 2.4 assists per game.

He poured in a career-high 27 points at Nevada and scored in double figures 22 times last season. One of Meyer’s most efficient outings came in a neutral site contest against South Dakota State, when he finished the game with 26 points on 11-of-15 from the field and 4-of-5 from deep while also adding seven rebounds and an assist.

Wyoming returns over 45% of its scoring and 40% of its rebounding from four returners.

Wyoming won 18 games last season and made the National Invitation Tournament for the first postseason action for the Brown and Gold since 2021-22. It was also the first time Wyoming has played in the NIT since 2003.
