It’s no secret that the Wyoming Cowboys Basketball team has taken a beating in this season’s transfer portal with a total of nine players opting to leave the program. Some like Ethan Anderson (Pepperdine), Noah Reynolds (Wisconsin) and Jeremiah Oden (DePaul) have found new homes while others like former Mountain West Preseason Player of the Year, Graham Ike, Nate Bardhardt and Max Agbonkpolo are still weighing their options.

Over the weekend, former Wyoming starter, Xavier DuSell, tweeted his commitment to a new school and it is within the conference as the Fresno State Bulldogs will now have the services of the 6′ 4″ junior.

DuSell, a Scottsdale, Arizona native, averaged 8.0 points per game this past season for the Pokes while shooting 42% from the three-point arc. In all, he appeared in 86 games for the Cowboys over the past three seasons. His final game in the Brown and Gold came in last month’s Mountain West Conference championships where Wyoming fell to New Mexico, 87-76. DuSell finished with 15 points in that effort.
