Gov. Gordon visits Kemmerer schools to discuss RIDE initiative
Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon visited southern Lincoln County on Monday, January 13 to visit local schools in the Kemmerer area. Gov. Gordon visited with students and staff at both Canyon Elementary School and Kemmerer Jr.-Sr. High School.
Lincoln County School District #1 has been one of the first districts in the state to pilot the Governor’s RIDE program, which stands for Reimagining and Innovating the Delivery of Education.
SVI Media partnered with KJSHS’s journalism program for an interview with the Governor while he was in Kemmerer. Below is an interview conducted by Kemmerer student Chloe Schenevar, discussing RIDE with Governor Gordon.
