Lincoln County growth continues

The North end of Star Valley continues to be one of the fastest growing parts of Wyoming in terms of new residents.

• Subdivisions coming before the county. 

Lincoln County continues to grow with subdivision projects coming before the planning and zoning board and the commission for consideration. Some are approved and others sent back for further preparation.

In the most recent Lincoln County Commission meeting Dec. 5, Etna Ranch, with 480 acres with 96 residential lots was tabled after a presentation at the meeting.

Etna Ranch is located adjacent to Star Valley Ranch.

Trespass Ranch, a 129 acre subdivision with 25 residential lots as denied by the commission.

Also, not receiving approval was Star Valley Springs subdivision near Thayne and Muddy String.

Early plat approvals for Lost Creek and Painted Hills were approved at the early stages.

Land use regulations are under review by the county.
