Lincoln County School District No. 2: Coming Events

◆ LCSD No. 2 celebrates over 100 days of face-to-face instruction through the pandemic.

LCSD No. 2 schools are celebrating over 100 days of school this month and enjoying more relaxed health regulations that allow higher numbers in attendance at events. Star Valley Schools have a four-day weekend with no school Friday, February 12 through Monday, February 15, and will also have no school on Friday, February 26.

Qualifying students will participate in the County Spelling Bee on February 24.

Afton Elementary School will follow the district schedule through the end of February.

Cokeville Elementary has Parent Teacher Conferences scheduled on Friday, February 12.

Etna Elementary has their winter session of Etna Enrichment classes every Tuesday and Wednesday after school through February 17. Etna 6th graders have ski trips planned February 11 and 25. Etna 4th graders are scheduled for a field trip February 18. Spirit Day and Mustang Club Celebration are February 19.

At Osmond Elementary, everyone is invited to attend the PTO Zoom meeting on Thursday, February 11 at 10 a.m.

At Thayne, students and staff will also follow the district schedule through the end of February.

Star Valley Middle School is calling for photos of students participating in personal activities that can go in the yearbook. Email photos to kalin.schwab@lcsd2.org. Members of the SVMS Robotics Club are scheduled to compete in a tournament in Kaysville, Utah on February 13.

Cokeville High School 10th grade students are scheduled to take the ASVAB on Tuesday, February 16. A pops concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17. Seventh Grade Honor Band and Choir students are scheduled to attend their honors clinic in Big Piney on Friday, February 19.

Star Valley High School music students who have been selected for All-State Choir, Orchestra and Band will meet to record and submit their music on Monday, February 15.

Swift Creek High School students have a normal schedule through February 26.
