A number of local businesses in Star Valley are offering discounts to veterans this Saturday, November 11 for Veterans Day.

Wyoming Minuteman Supply will offer 30% off everything in store for Veterans from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The only exception is for firearms which will be discounted 10% for veterans, excluding consignments. Must have Veterans I.D. for the discounts.

Thayne True Value is offering 5% for veterans on Saturday. Rocky Mountain Seafood in Afton will be giving 20% off to all veterans, while Western Wyoming Firearms is offering 20% off all items for veterans. The Afton Ford Theatre is offering a “buy one, gone one free” ticket offer for all veterans for this Saturday’s standup comedian, Auggie Smith. Some businesses have ongoing discounts for veterans. Hastings Ace Hardware offers 5% off year-round with military ID. Kodiak Mountain Resort does a military discount of $10/night for active military or veterans. Bomgaars also offers a discount year-round of 10%. However this Saturday the Bomgaars discount will increase to 17% for military members and veterans, with some restrictions.
