◆ Entire Upper Snake River Basin system sitting at 74 percent full.
Water levels in Western Wyoming are looking positive at this point in the year. The Upper Snake River Basin System, which includes the Palisades Reservoir, is sitting at 74 percent capacity.
According to the Bureau of Reclamation, as of January 6 the Palisades Reservoir was sitting at 89 percen full.
Jackson Lake was listed at 71 percent full.
Additional reservoirs and water systems in the Upper Snake River region storage reserves were listed as follows:
•Grassy Lake – 82 percent full;
• Henry’s Lake – 94 percent full;
• Island Park – 89 percent full;
• Ririe Reservoir – 58 percent full;
• American Falls Reservoir – 64 percent full;
• Milner Reservoir – 58 percent full;
• and Little Wood – 65 percent full.
According to the Bureau of Reclamation, the amount of water in storage in the system is above last year. and,well above average.
