Repair work to the Viaduct Bridge on US 189 in Kemmerer has begun.

WYDOT reports that subcontractor Coldwater Group moved in this week and started work on the bridge.  The contract awarded to Kilgore in August 2018 includes paving, sign replacement and other minor work throughout Kemmerer and Diamondville.  But for now the work is restricted to the bridges.

The work zone allows for two way traffic but it is a tight fit – the contractor has already received permission to restrict all loads to less than 10 feet wide for the duration of the bridge work. 

The contractor anticipates completing the bridge work by sometime in early June.   WYDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use caution, and stay safe during the construction period.
