Two people were injured and transported to Evanston Regional Hospital early Wednesday morning when their semi truck rolled down an embankment on I-80 behind the Evanston Walmart. Uinta County Fire and Ambulance reports that the incident happened in the westbound lane at Milepost 5. Evanston Fire and EMS responded to extricate the patients and transport them to the hospital.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. Road conditions were dry at the time of the incident.
