Star Valley High School Alum named to James Wilson Fellows Class of 2020

Miller graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he received the International Center for Law and Religion Studies’ Outstanding Service Award and published his note on law and corpus linguistics in the BYU Law Review.

◆ Justin Miller recognized for his prowess.

Justin Miller, a 2011 graduate of Star Valley High School and son of Bryan and Jan Miller of Freedom, has been named as a member of the James Wilson Fellows Class of 2020.

Miller clerks for Judge Andrew L. Brasher of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Last year, he clerked for Judge Brasher of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama.

Miller graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he received the International Center for Law and Religion Studies’ Outstanding Service Award and published his note on law and corpus linguistics in the BYU Law Review.

During law school, Miller clerked at Schaerr Jaffe LLP, the Civil Appeals Division of the Utah Attorney General’s Office, and the Criminal Appeals Division of the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps.

He also served as a judicial extern to Judge N. Randy Smith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit; Judge Dale A. Kimball of the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, and Chief Justice Sherry Radack of the Texas First Court of Appeals.
