Star Valley’s Street Market and Art Trail are happening this weekend in Alpine. Over 25 musicians, artists and vendors are scheduled to fill the street Friday and Saturday for two days of music, visual art, crafts, and tasty creations.
Traditionally, the Street Market and Art Trail have been separate events, but this year, organizers have chosen to collaborate and take the event to Alpine.
“It felt natural for it to become one event, so we are going to be promoting artists, musicians, crafting and all sorts of things like that,” said Mica Don, event organizer. “We are super excited for the opportunity to bring these two worlds together because it’s super important for us to work together and bring all the small businesses and artists together and create a little powerhouse.”
Don plans for vendors and artists to line up along Highway 89 in front of the Alpine Civic Center in Alpine and have the Classic Car Show on the lawn of the Civic Center.
“It’s really just that we are picking our Star Valley Street Market up out of Afton and dropping it into Alpine. It’s scheduled the same days as the Art Trail and car show have been. There will be oil painters, some woodworking people, and some crafters. There will be food creations there and things along those lines.”
Everything offered in the Street Market and Art Trail will be available for guests to purchase.
“Come support your friends, family, and neighbors at our annual Alpine Art Trail hosted by Star Valley Street Market,” concluded Don. “We want to encourage all to come see and learn about the talent of the artists, musicians, crafters, chefs, and more of our beautiful valley. We can’t wait to see you in Alpine and our future dates in Afton.”
