SVI Sports Schedule: December 6-8

• Star Valley High School

The SVHS Winter Sports season begins this weekend.

Girls Basketball: The Lady Braves open up their 2018-19 schedule in the same town as they hope to be in come March as they take on the Kelly Walsh Trojans on the KW floor. Tip-off for the game is scheduled or 6 p.m. There is no coverage from SVI for this game. The Lady Braves will take on the Riverton Wolverines on Friday with a 1:30 p.m. tip-off at Natrona County High School. Duke Dance will provide audio coverage of this game on Swift 98.7 FM on traditional radio and online here at svinews.com. The girls will wrap up the weekend against Cheyenne South on a neutral court. There will be no coverage of this game.
Boys Basketball: The Braves also begin their campaign on the road against the Kelly Walsh Trojans but will do so on a neutral floor at Riverton High School with a 6 p.m. tip. There will be no coverage from SVI for this game. The boys team will then take on the Wolverines on their home court at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night. There will be no coverage of this game.  On Saturday, Star Valley will face off against Cheyenne South for the first time in school history. Duke Dance will provide audio coverage at 12 noon on Swift 98.7 and also online here.
Wrestling: The Braves Brawl is this Friday and Saturday at SVHS. The duel-format tournament begins at 3:01 p.m. in the main gym and will resume on Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. SVI Media will be broadcasting both Star Valley varsity teams in competition for the entirety of the tournament.

Because of the scheduling of the basketball tournament. The Spur may not be able to broadcast every game. Stay tuned and listen to as many games as we are able to broadcast.

• Kemmerer High School
Girls Basketball: The Lady Rangers will be playing just down the road from home at the Bridger Valley Tournament this weekend. On Friday they will face off against the Lyman Eagles.
Boys Basketball: The Rangers will also be at Lyman High School and will be facing off against the Big Piney Punchers. The Kemmerer basketball teams’ opponents will depend on their performance on Friday. The games for the weekend will be broadcast on The Spur. Listen anywhere online at svinews.com.
Wrestling: The Rangers will be at the Evanston Invitational with a number of other schools from the region. The tournament takes place on Friday and Saturday.

Girls Basketball: The Lady Panthers will be at the Bridger Valley Tournament this weekend where they will

Cokeville’s basketball teams will be in Bridger Valley while the wrestlers will be in Star Valley.

take on the Big Piney Punchers on Friday at Mountain View High School. The team will then face off against Mountain View or Wind River on Saturday.
Boys Basketball: The Panthers will play against Wind River on Friday at Mountain View High School and then take on either the Buffalos or Arco, Idaho on Saturday.
Wrestling: The Panthers will be in Afton as part of the Braves Brawl this weekend where they will see teams from Idaho, Utah and Wyoming.

• Pinedale High School
Girls Basketball: The Lady Wranglers will be in tournament play this Friday at Lovell High School where they will face the Bulldogs. On Saturday the program will take on both Worland and Powell on the Lovell floor.

Boys Basketball: The Wranglers will be in Buffalo for tournaments play and will square off against Powell on Friday on the Bison floor. Pinedale will play a pair of games on Saturday against both Worland and

The Wranglers basketball teams will be in Lovell and Buffalo this weekend with the wrestling team in Evanston.

Wrestling: The grapplers will be part of the Evanston Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

• Utah State University Basketball
The Aggies (7-2) will host Weber State (5-3) on Saturday, December 8. Tip-off time is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Listen to the game on KVSI (101.7 and 1450 AM) on traditional radio in Montpelier, Idaho or listen here at svinews.com/radio.
