WHSAA announces Wyoming Fall sports will start on time

There will be changes to state venues. State Football will not take place in Laramie at War Memorial Stadium this season and instead will take place at the highest seeded team’s home field. Ending months of speculation the Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA) released a news release clarifying the upcoming season for the 2020-21 school year.

Star Valley High School will have golf begin practice on August 10 with their first event scheduled for August 12. Football, cross-country and volleyball can begin practice on August 17.

Part of the discussion will be a paring down of larger events into smaller competitions. A rescheduling meeting will take place on August 3.
