Leslie A. Bell Jr.
Leslie A. Bell Jr., beloved father, grandfather, and devoted servant of God, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026, in Chandler, Arizona, surrounded by his daughters. He was 80 years old.
Born August 16, 1945, in Preston, Idaho, to Leslie and Mona Bell, Leslie was raised in Grace, Idaho, where he developed a strong work ethic, deep faith, and commitment to service. He was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he faithfully served in many callings throughout his life.
He met and later married his high school sweetheart, Christine Johnson, on April 14, 1967, in the Logan Utah Temple. Their marriage was a lifelong partnership built on faith, love, and devotion to family.
Leslie worked as an electrical engineer and was respected for his integrity, dedication, and attention to detail. He took pride in providing for his family and in the work he accomplished throughout his career.
Above all, Leslie cherished his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. He is remembered for his quiet strength, kindness, steady example, and unconditional love for his family.
He is survived by his children, Tamara Lynn Bell, Brandon John Bell (Elisa), and Megan Marie Greenhalgh, as well as six grandchildren who brought him great joy.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Christine; his parents; and other cherished family members.
Funeral services were held on June 27, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary and Cemetery in Sandy, Utah, with interment following at 4:00 PM at Memorial Lakeview Cemetery in Bountiful, Utah.
He will be remembered for his faith, humility, and lifelong devotion to his family.
