LIZ CHENEY: I really appreciate very much the focus on remembering where the virus came from and the extent to which the Chinese Communist Party, the government of China was very much responsible for an action that allowed this virus, they caused this virus, frankly, to be spread around the world because they were not honest, because they were not forthcoming, because they allowed travel outside of Wuhan to the rest of the world, and they’ve got to be held accountable. I know there will be a lot of support on both sides of the aisle, Mr. President, in Congress to do just that. |
