Health care continues to be a challenge across the state and for that matter, the nation.
Rural areas of Wyoming are going through the challenges of keeping their hospitals open and maintaining services in cases where insurance coverage is not offered or inadequate with reimbursement.
From the state level, we see these changes and how it ties in with the cost of maintaining insurance coverage.
Premiums continue to escalate, yet people still need health care.
The Wyoming Legislature’s Health Insurance Affordability Task Force is coming together for the first meeting June 17 and 18 to look at escalating premiums for families already fighting inflation on several fronts.
This will be a start as individuals and businesses seek to maintain health insurance.
We’ll be looking for that Wyoming solution.
