Star Valley FFA installed nine new officers who will govern the chapter through the 2026-27 year at the annual Blue and Gold Gala on Saturday, May 16.
Oakley Hepworth leads the new team as President, with Hudson England as Vice President and Samantha Moffat as Second Vice President. Teagyn Carey is serving as Secretary and Arabella Hardesty as Treasurer. Adeline Miles took over as Parliamentarian with Evalyn Andrus serving as Reporter. Hadlee Messerly stepped in as the new Student Advisor and Mattison Collins is the new Sentinel.

The gala was well attended by friends and supporters of the FFA who collectively honored the members for awards that they earned throughout the competition season and at the Wyoming State Convention in April. Dignitaries in attendance included Wyoming Senator Dan Dockstader and US Senator John Barasso, who stopped into the gala for a few moments in support of the young members.
Meeting proceedings followed the pattern established by state and national FFA conventions with awards, retiring addresses, nomination committee announcement of the new officer team and retirement of jackets for the retiring officer team.
“The 2026-2027 officer team is enthusiastic of the upcoming year and already working together to accomplish their goals,” said SVFFA Advisor, Victor Hardesty. “They will do great in growing leaders and working with the chapter and community to support agriculture.”
