Janet Jacobson

Janet Ann Jacobson passed away on June 3, 2026 in Tucson, Pima County, Arizona. Jan was born January 29, 1939 on the dining room table in Osakis, Douglas County, Minnesota to George and Helen (Hendrickson) Jacobson.
Jan married John Felt on August 14, 1969 at RAF Bentwaters Chapel in the United Kingdom. They were divorced in 2003.
Jan loved her pet dogs, visiting with friends from around the world, sports, fishing, golf and quilting.
Jan is preceded in death by her parents George Jacobson and Helen Hendrickson, sisters Norma and Phyllis; brothers Donald and Robert.
Janet was a legend, larger than life, and her presence will be missed dearly.
Per Jan’s wishes, some of her ashes were scattered in Wyoming, Arizona and England. The internment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Saint James, Minnesota with her parents and sister this spring.
A Celebration of Life Service, officiated by Rev. Stephen Bibb, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25 at Star Valley United Church, 606 N Main Street, Thayne, WY 83127. Please join us for a light lunch and sharing of memories and stories following the service.

Carol Scholl

Carol Ann Barrow Scholl, age 83, of Springville, Utah, passed away on August 8, 2026. She was born on January 6, 1943, in Tracy, CA to Manuel and Mary Simas.
She is survived by her second husband Glen Scholl, her sons and their wives, Eric and Angie, Evan and Lisa, Alec and Irene, and Kyle, 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald J. Barrow and her son Ross.
Carol will be remembered dearly for her belief and devotion to her faith, her family, and her friends. Above all things Carol believed in the importance of service and spent decades of her life affecting and elevating the lives of people in the communities where she lived in California, Utah, and Kentucky.
A memorial service for Carol will be held on Saturday, August 15 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Springville, Utah 828 West Center Street, Springville UT 84663 the service will begin with a viewing from 9-10:45 a.m., followed by the memorial service. Following the memorial service in Springville, family and attendees will transport Carol to the West Warren Cemetery at 750 N 6700 W, Ogden, UT, 84404. There will be a graveside service and dedication at approximately 4 p.m. Donations to tabithasway.org (tabithasway.org/) will be accepted in lieu of flowers.
