The two-day Star Valley Golf Invite in the books after play on Monday and Tuesday. The Star Valley Red team won the boys team race with a score of 613 while Rock Springs was second with a total of 674. Jackson was third at 681. Kemmerer placed sixth with a finish of  730. 

Star Valley’s Deegan Hill fended off Kemmerer’s Trevan Benson for the top boys score as he shot a 139. Benson’s second-day 68 was the top score for day two as he finished with a 141. Star Valley had three of the next four finishers with Daltyn DeCora, Braxton Johnson and Wyatt Pack all finishing in the top six. 

Evanston won the girls team race with a total of 542, that was nine strokes better than the Star Valley Red team who shot a 551. Jackson was third at 579. Kemmerer’s Tazlyn Wagner easily won the girls tournament with a two-day total of 148. Evanston’s Lizzie O’Connell was 21 strokes back at second with a 169. Star Valley’s top three players finished 4th 5th and 6th with Paylan Merritt, Kate Ricks and Averie Rivard.
