Star Valley’s Salt River Symphony and Chorus are presenting a musical Easter Celebration on Sunday evening, April 13 at 7 p.m. in the Ford Theatre. Musical programming for the evening focuses on the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the religious focus of the Easter Sabbath.
Nearly 50 local musicians and vocalists are involved in the production and have been rehearsing since February. “We are so excited to hear the musical selections they have chosen for this special holiday,” said Jaclyn Lechner, Salt River Arts Society’s Marketing and Media Representative.
Selections on the program include:

“How Great Thou Art”
“When You Believe from “The Prince of Egypt”
“My Kindness Shall Not Depart” by Rob Gardner
“Didn’t My Lord Deliver Daniel”
“I Can Only Imagine” by MercyMe
“Come enjoy a Sunday evening as a community at the Ford Theatre in celebration of Easter,” said Lechner.
Admission is free. Donations are accepted.
