The Star Valley Lady Braves qualified for the Wyoming State tournament for the 11th straight season as they swept the Natrona Fillies on Saturday afternoon 3-0. The win eliminated the host team and advanced Star Valley into the final match of the 4A West Regionals where they will play Evanston for the #3 seed out of the conference.
The Lady Braves defeated Rock Springs 3-1 on Friday and then fell to Kelly Walsh 3-1 in the semifinals.
The anticipated start of the match with Evanston is approximately 5:30 p.m. as it will take place after the 4A West championship between the Trojans and Green River.
Brandy Taylor and Patience Jenkins are on site to stream video of the day. As a post-season event, the streaming rights are owned by the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS). The NFHS requires a substantial fee to stream video of post-season events. Aspen Physical Therapy has generously agreed to pay for these fees so Star Valley fans can watch the Lady Braves.
