This year’s Historical Rock Church summer play is called “Just a Doggon Minute”, written by Allene W. Robinson.
What the play is about:
“Just a Doggon Minute” is set in 1902 Afton at Arthur and Martha Roberts’ store and post office. Afton has just been incorporated and a town council and mayor are newly elected. Mayor Call and the town council are doing their best to develop the town when the ladies of the Literary Guild decide building a library would be a great move. The town council disagrees, upsetting the town’s careful balance.
Charity Williams, Director, invites community members and visitors to “come enjoy the lighthearted banter between Afton residents who just want to make their community better.”
