• Games to be played at Casper College July 18
Rosters for the Wyoming Coaches Association (WCA) All-Star games have been released ahead of the weekend which will take place at Casper College on Saturday July 18. Teams representing the North and South of Wyoming will play in girls and boys basketball as well as volleyball.
The South squad will have plenty of representation from LCSD#2 with athletes from Star Valley and Cokeville High Schools. The South volleyball squad will have Shayna Casey, Adelyn Christiansen, Ruby Hill and Camryn Mackey from the Lady Braves and Rachel Thomas from the Lady Panthers. The team will be coached by Jenny Evans of Little Snake River and Liz Coville of Pinedale.
The South girls basketball team will have Addison Barnes of Cokeville and Ambrey Nelson of Star Valley and will be coached by Clint Landon of Green River. The South boys basketball team will have Dylan Shumway from Star Valley on the team which will be coached boy Chris Cook of Lingle-Ft. Laramie.
The games will be played in conjunction with the WCA coaching clinic and Hall of Fame Banquet. The volleyball match will be played at 1 p.m. followed by the girls basketball game at 3 p.m. and the boys game at 5 p.m. In addition, each team will participate in a Community awareness event and interact with groups like Make-A-Wish, Special Olympics or the Boys and Girls Clubs.
