Star Valley put together a very good day in their drive for the program’s fifth straight Wyoming 3A state wrestling title as they lead the pack in Casper by 69.0 points.
After advancing 12 into the semi-finals, the Braves put seven into the finals on Friday night and sit at 200.0 team points. Douglas is second with 131.0. Powell and Worland finished in a tie for third place with 122.5.
Jacob Guild (113), Waylon Nelson (120), Winston Green (126), Brayden Andrews (132), David Walker (182), Trent Clark (195) and Parker Merritt (285) will wrestle for individual state titles on Saturday afternoon. Clark and Merritt are gunning for their second straight titles.
