Accident involving school bus blocks U.S. Highway 89 north of Etna
SVI received of an accident between a school bus and another vehicle at mile post 110 just north of Etna on Friday, February 2.
The accident took place at approximately 7:20 a.m.
No children on the bus were been injured but there were reports of injuries from the other vehicle involved.
According to LCSD #2 Transportation Director, Ryan Lyman, no children were hurt and all parents have been notified of the accident. Lyman also told SVI Media that “very little” damage was done to the bus.
The accident blocked traffic on U.S. Hwy 89 while first responders worked through the scene.
More information on this accident will be added to this story as it becomes available from the Wyoming Highway Patrol and other agencies.
Slick roads are contributing to travel conditions with another accident being reported on U.S. Hwy 238 near Auburn.
