The Star Valley Lady Braves are in Casper for the 4A State Championship on Saturday as the classification takes over the Casper Events Center.

Star Valley fell to undefeated Laramie in the opening round 3-1 (25-10, 25-16, 22-25, 25-18)

Facing elimination, the Lady Braves won the first two sets and then rallied late in Set 4 to knock off Natrona County 3-1 (25-17, 25-23, 17-25, 25-23)

At 4 p.m. Star Valley will play Evanston for the fifth time this season in the Consolation Finals. The Devils have won the previous four.

Laramie will face Kelly Walsh for the title with Cheyenne East and Thunder Basin battling for third place.
