The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that a fatal vehicle accident occurred on Wednesday night on Highway 238 in Star Valley. The accident occurred at roughly 9:40 p.m.

The incident, which includes multiple fatalities, remains under investigation by the Wyoming Highway Patrol. The identities of those involved have not been released pending the investigation and notification of next-of-kin. However, Lincoln County School District no. 2 has confirmed that among the fatalities includes a student and staff member of the school district. A statement from LCSD2 is pending.
