An extensive housing report has been released by the Wyoming Community Development Authority for the counties and communities of Wyoming.

The reports include the following:

1.  In-Depth Analysis: The assessment includes a thorough examination of the current housing market, considering factors such as housing affordability, availability, and suitability for various demographics.

2. Demographic Trends: By analyzing demographic data, the assessment identifies the specific needs of different population segments, including families, seniors, and individuals with low to moderate incomes.

 3. Economic Impact: Understanding the economic factors influencing housing, the assessment explores the impact of job growth, income levels, and market dynamics on housing affordability.

“We have taken the deep dive on the demographics of the state for the 23 counties and 99 municipalities,” said Scott Hoversland, Executive director of the Wyoming Community Development Authority.”

An an example of the study,  Alpine study shows a nine percent change from a 2010 report.

“When we look at the information, Alpine has changed with 11 percent but it shows growth when you look at the age demographics the 45 older and especially 45 to 64 we see growth and in 65 and older,” he said. This follows the demographics of the state where it shows an aging population.”

He continued, “We are aging in place and as we get older, we want to stay around in the communities we are in.”
