Kick It or Keep It returns this week with a country song from Utah singer who is performing this weekend at the Back County Jam in Afton, Wyoming.

Chris Petersen, from Cedar City, Utah, was a performer on Season 15 of America’s Got Talent in 2020. His country influence comes from the likes of Chris Ledoux, George Strait and Merle Haggard.

One of Petersen’s most popular songs is titled “Rodeo Road.” The song came out in 2019 as part of the album Cowboys Coming Home.

Petersen will be performing live at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds this Friday during the Back Country Jam Country Music Festival, which features artist such as Wyoming’s own Chancey Williams and American Idol winner Chayce Beckham.
