Teton County Search and Rescue responded to a snowmobile crash on January 12 in the Granite Falls area of the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
The rider, a woman, had accidentally driven off the edge of the trail and had a suspected neck injury according to TCSAR.
TCSAR deployed both air and ground rescue teams, but the helicopter team was able to reach the patient and land. The backup ground team of snowmobiles and a RZR were not needed.
The patient was flown back to Jackson and delivered to higher medical care.
