Star Valley and Cokeville kicking off holiday season with weekend festivities

◆ The fun begins Saturday, November 27.

AFTON
• Saturday, November 27, bundle up for the Parade of Lights at 5:30 p.m.
• Visit Santa at Santa’s Workshop on the East side of the Lincoln County Fairgrounds along Washington Street from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m.
• Don’t miss a concert presented by the Bar T5 Band at the Ford Theatre starting at 7 p.m.
• Send your letters to Santa at the Santa’s workshop mailbox from November 27 through December 17.

ALPINE
• Santa and Mrs. Claus are coming to town on the fire truck, December 4. Visit them from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Have Santa’s elf take a family photo with a beautiful holiday backdrop.
• Attend the Alpine Holiday Craft Fair December 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Alpine Civic Center. Admission is free.

COKEVILLE
• Enjoy a Country Christmas, December 3 beginning with the Christmas Light Parade at 5 p.m. (Entries for the parade will meet at the elementary school).
• Stay for the Christmas tree lighting at Town Hall and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.

THAYNE
• Come to downtown Thayne for Christmas on the Canal, Monday, November 29 at 6 p.m. when the lighting along the canal signals the opening of the holiday season. There will be live music presented by Morningside Church.
• Visit Santa at the Fire station
• Enjoy Hot Chocolate and sugar cookies provided by Silverstar Communications.

HEART OF CHRISTMAS
The traditional Heart of Christmas concert is scheduled for December 2 and 3 at 7 p.m. each evening. Performances will take place in the Star Valley High School Auditorium.
