The spotlight is on Ririe Friday night as the Ririe Bulldogs (1–3) welcome the Aberdeen Tigers (2–2) for the SVI Media East Idaho Game of the Week!
Ririe returns home looking to get back in the win column after a challenging start to the season. The Bulldogs are coming off a 34–20 loss to unbeaten West Side, but this is a program that knows how to win when the games matter most. Ririe made a memorable run all the way to the 3A State Championship Game in 2025, finishing the year 10–1.
Aberdeen comes into Friday night with momentum after a 13–6 road victory over Marsh Valley. The Tigers are 2–2 on the season, with their two losses coming by a combined eight points, including a 29–22 overtime battle with Declo.
There’s plenty of recent history between these programs. Ririe defeated Aberdeen twice last season, including a 14–8 victory in the state semifinals that sent the Bulldogs to the championship game. Now the Tigers head to Ririe looking for some payback.
