We head to the playoffs with a full head of steam in this week’s SVI Sports Night — The Braves face Rawlins, which is a program making its first playoff appearance this decade. The Outlaws are led by Douglas, Wyoming native Cody Hooker — who is hoping he can take from the culture and tradition he learned growing up amidst three-straight Douglas Bearcats 3A state titles — and pass it on to his adopted Rawlins Outlaws.

This week Jake looks at how Braves head coach McKay Young has built upon an already rich Star Valley football tradition — and how one of his favorite personnel packages has transcended programs from his days as head coach in Malad, Idaho, to his tenure in Star Valley.
