Total coronavirus cases now stands at 525; decrease of 29

As of  Saturday, Aug. 8, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases seen in Wyoming since the illness was first diagnosed in the state increased by eight  — from 2,490 to 2,498.

Campbell, Fremont, Laramie, Sheridan and Washakie counties each reported one additional case; Carbon and Hot Springs cases both increased by two.  The Health Department shows a decrease of one case in Teton County.
The total number of active coronavirus cases statewide is now 525, a decrease of 29 from yesterday.
